Lesson Progress:

Step 1: Fine Tuning Your Plan

To come up with a successful plan, it is important to fully understand the problem.

By keeping track of the problem, you may learn that it only happens at certain times of the day (when you are tired, when you are hungry, or when you have a lot of work to do). You can also learn if your responses are making things better or worse!

Pro Tip

Remember – Knowledge is power! Once you know what the problem really is, you can make a plan to work on it.

Earlier we walked through the facts of Sara and Thomas’ homework challenges. Now it’s your turn to answer the same questions to get the facts on a challenge that you are facing. After answering the questions, you may realize that what you thought was the problem is actually only a symptom of the problem and that the real problem is something else.
